Ciao! I founded Atelier Kika.b in 2018. It was born out of my love for my home country, Italy, and its art and beautiful handbags and accessories.

I left Italy in 1993 and came to the UK with my English husband. I personally source all of the collections during my return trips to Tuscany and Puglia. I meet the makers, listen to their stories and learn about their local traditions. The is what matters most to me and brings the project alive.

I started online with one of my most popular leather collections, the etta crossbody. I hope you enjoy its great versatility and the glorious range of colours as much as I do. Something tells me these bags are here to stay!

As Atelier Kika.b’s founder, I firmly believe in empowering and inspiring other women. All my support teams in Italy are women – amazing hard-working mothers and daughters who run small businesses with flair and tenacity.

In case you were wondering, the name Kika in Italian is short for Federica, my gorgeous daughter, to whom I dedicate the project.
